10 Baking Supplies Storage Ideas

Adding a touch of farmhouse and elegance to your kitchen can be fun, easy, and budget-friendly. Here are just a few ideas to get you started!

  1. Use to store items like salt, baking soda, and baking power. Print or write the name of the ingredient on any type of paper, and secure to the tin. Bonus points for adding a little recipe or a cute quote.
  2. Use as a recipe cardholder. Our tins are the perfect size for storing and organizing those old family recipes! You can even go a step further and organize by the type of dish.
  3. Add chalkboard paint. This is especially useful for supplies that you may change out more often and not always keep on hand. You can paint the entire thing or just one area for writing.
  4. Pair with a spice rack. Forgo the boring bottles you buy in the store, add spices to tins, label, and create a charming display.
  5. Add to a pegboard. Simply punch a hole, add a hook and attach your beautiful tin to a peg board displayed in your kitchen. This is a great solution for storing utensils, so they are out of the way, but within easy reach.
  6. Store cookie cutters. You know those tiny cookie cutters that are impossible to organize in drawers? Our candle tins are the perfect size for keeping them in one spot.
  7. Store cupcake liners. These liners usually come in a plastic bag, and once they are opened, it’s hard to keep them organized. Use a candle tin to keep them clean and neat!
  8. Organize utensils. Most of us dedicate an entire drawer to utensils, and we still have to dig around to find what we need. Candle tins can be set out on the counter for quick and easy access.
  9. Share with others. It doesn’t happen much at our house, but if you bake too much, little cookies, cupcakes, and muffins fit perfectly within our tins! Stick a little bow on top for a perfect eco-friendly gift box.
  10. Display wine bottles. Okay, not technically a baking supply, but what pairs better with baking than wine? Try cutting out the bottom of your tin and securing a few of them together for a unique wine storage solution.

Which of these DIY ideas is your favorite? Any you plan on tackling?
